Who we are

HGRF was first envisioned in 2016, reorganised in 2018 and duly incorporated in 2019. The vision was born out of passion for the plight of the teen, youth and other vulnerable individuals and the impact on families and society.

Our Burden

Our burden is bore out of the continuous increase in the incidents and prevalence level of drug/substance misuse and abuse by vulnerable children. This has exponentially led to an increase in crime rate and social economic burden to the family and the society at large.

Rehabilitating (manage) already alcohol/drug misuse addicts using the Evidence Based Recovery model.

Preventing youths and vulnerable individual from abusing alcohol and drugs through targeted advocacy and counseling.

Did you know?

The number of drug users in Nigeria is estimated at 14.4 per cent or 14.3 million people aged between 15 and 64 years according to the results of the National Drug Use Survey released today in Abuja. The data suggests that the prevalence of past year drug use in Nigeria is more than twice the global average of 5.6 per cent.
